Role

Account Executive with a clear understanding of achieving the brand and its client's goals, and objectives to produce effective campaigns. He/She must be able to communicate every client’s message effectively, in a way that’s engaging to its target audience and the media. Manage the day-to-day affairs of the client’s projects to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibility
  1. Be responsible for managing at least 2 key accounts with the assistance of the Project Manager.

2. Conduct market research to find out the needs, habits, and personality traits of the client’s

audiences.

3. Be responsible for the quality of work on all accounts managed (from proposal phase to the end

of the project).

4. Building quality proposals with unique insights and consumer behaviour.

5. You must be able to handle PR-related needs of the business - write press releases, news stories,

articles, case studies, and product pieces; pitch press releases and feature ideas in covering the

company’s or clients’ stories.

6. Develop innovative solutions for the Media & its clients with impactful results that will

increase client budget while delivering excellent results based on client’s needs.

7. Manage client projects ensuring 100% repeat business on all clients' projects and report on

non-repeated businesses.

8. Propose new concepts and approaches that may align with client goals.

9. Own all aspects of client projects, manage projects and work with Project Manager to establish

timelines, and present key findings/deliverables when required.

10. Ensure gross profit margin on every business is never less than 40% of budget or client spend.

11. Compile third-party data information to build data-driven reports and strategies.

12. Develop strategic solutions that best fit the client’s needs. Review, analyze and evaluate the

following, relative to the client’s needs and objectives: media output, creative output, research

reports, and client data.

13. Recommend media outlets to seed brand stories.

15. Measure processes to ensure we are aligned on client’s and Media’s projects’ key

performance metrics, establishing realistic business goals, and providing accountability through

reporting and analytics, and providing optimized strategies moving forward.

16. Provide support in developing and presenting new strategic opportunities.

17. Take responsibility for additional tasks assigned to you by the team. Participate in team

activities.

18. An excellent display of digital mastery and peerless execution of projects.

19. Advise, manage and monitor digital spend, deliver analytics reports on social media, reporting

on traffic, engagements, and followers figures for the company.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. M.A

Degree is a plus.

2. 3- 4 years experience working in a PR agency, Advertising, or Digital agency.

3. Must have at least 3 years worth of experience working in the FMCG industry and private

sector.

4. Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both

regional and international levels.

5. Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong writing

and editorial abilities.

6. Highly organized with the ability to multitask.

7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet, wire services, media

monitoring software, and other public relation tools.

8. Demonstrated success with Social Media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and others

is a plus.

9. Must possess strong project management skills.

10. Must be able to meet tight deadlines and execute flawlessly on projects in a fast-paced, often

pressured environment and see a project through to completion.

11. Must have the ability to be an influential communications consultant within the organization.

12. Experience in acting as a company spokesperson at appointed times.

13. Must have the ability to work effectively with a team.

14. Must be capable of maintaining confidentiality, with a high level of accuracy regarding

information.

15. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and

external stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of employees is critical
